Staffing

Staffing is a critical problem in peak season. Some staff resigned before the peak and some staff wish to take a break. Not easy to get a balance on workload allocation, I wish to try my best to be fair, hope I can help them.

NLT 50th anniversary

Attending my church 50th anniversary made a perfect closing on my Christmas holiday. I was very touched today, don't know why, especially seeing the youngsters' dedication.

I haven't updated the blog for a long time because I was sick for several days, besides, I am afraid of the peak season, a bit overloaded by the newly assigned tasks. Quite worry about the peak season.

So many friends getting married in December. Lulu's wedding clashes with Adam's, so I need to give up attending Adam's church ceremony because I haven't seen Lulu's wife though they are together for 10 years. 10 years is amazingly long but it's quite common among my friends.

Anita Mui

A very amazing experience today. Sha and I visited Anita's mother today with Anita International Fans Club member. Of course, I am not a fan of Anita but it's no harm to pay a visit to her mun's flat. Seems auntie is a kind person, she cooks for us and welcome our visit. She is not as bad as the media generally described. I totally changed the view on her. Not sure if we were too bias before, at least, I am sure that she is a very sharp person although she is already 87.

An awesome movie! The best thing is knowing "Made in China" is a guaranteed product, both the quality and efficiency. You can tell from Heathrow Airport vs Beijing Airport :P

Dept Function BBQ

We have BBQ in Tai Mei Tuk this afternoon, it's fun because all those join did it voluntarily. Those who did not join are just their wish. I am thinking if I am promoted in the future, I won't have many chances to hang out with colleagues in this way, so, I should treasure more on these events.

One bad thing is my in-charge has a bike accident, he has cut his face, lip and broke a tooth, was sent to hospital by an ambulance. Luckily, nothing worse than that and he was a guy, could be able to bear a scar on his face. Hope he can get well soon.

Holiday

I love December because it is the slack season for us. Sha will come tomorrow and I am going to have a another experience for the coming months. I still have 10 days annual leave to consume before the end of this year, no travel plan because I have already travelled a lot in this year.

One special thing is that our company cell group has invited a singer to give a sharing on 11 Dec and I will be responsible for the worship session. It will be quite challenging for me as I haven't lead the worship for almost 3 years.....

It's my honour to be business advisor of Gingko House. It fulfils me everytime I see the elder people have working opportunities there. Hope they can do well in the business and open the restaurants in every 18 districts.

Sirena's Visit

Hop-on-hop-off bus, Oktobefest, Star Ferry, Yam Chai, Lan Kwai Fong, Macau, and many more. Very cool to have reunion and travel again after we went to Stonehenge, Barcelona, Southern France.

It's good for me to have a relaxing weekend after the hectic October. Time to re-charge and have fun.
